In the rapidly evolving landscape of cloud computing, the role of a Junior CloudOps Administrator is pivotal. You will be diving deep into the intricacies of public cloud platforms, assisting businesses in their transformative journey from on-premises setups to efficient and scalable cloud environments. Whether it's developing new infrastructures, aiding in seamless migrations, or crafting robust hybrid infrastructures, your work will directly impact the success and growth of our clients. Under the guidance of seasoned engineers, you'll have the opportunity to learn, innovate, and make a tangible difference. What you will do:

• Assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions for clients in public cloud environments.
• Ensure that the cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, cost, and resilience.
• Regularly monitor cloud resources, analyzing usage patterns, and making recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers in planning and executing migration projects, moving client resources from on-premises environments to public clouds.
• Assist in evaluating the current on-premises setup, identifying dependencies, and ensuring a smooth transition to the cloud.
• Provide post-migration support, ensuring all systems are functional and optimized in the new environment.
• Work on building hybrid solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premises systems with public cloud resources.
• Ensure secure and efficient data transfer between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure that hybrid connections are robust and secure.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their cloud-related queries, concerns, and feedback.
• Document all client interactions, ensuring that any issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Educate clients on best practices for cloud management, helping them get the best value from their cloud investments.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in cloud computing.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers, benefiting from their expertise and mentorship, and contributing to team projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to address any security concerns or breaches in a proactive manner.

What are we looking for:

• Passion for cloud computing and a thirst for knowledge.
• A fast learner who's passionate about exploring diverse technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services (AWS preferable)
• Hands-on experience with key AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, R53, IAM, CloudWatch, and Lambda would be an advantage.
• Familiar with cloud security best practices.
• Familiar with cloud monitoring, performance and cost optimization.
• Experience with developing Infrastructure as a code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible…).
• Experience with Git or another version control system.
• Experience with Linux administration.
• Understanding of Networking and Security (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, VPN, Firewall, Load Balancers).
• Familiar with scripting languages, including Python and Bash, to automate routine tasks and processes.
• Understanding of software development life cycles, tools, and methodologies, with an emphasis on continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate with global teams and clients.
• Any technical AWS or Azure  certification would be an advantage.
• While we value skills over degrees, a bachelor's or master's in Computer Science, IT, or related fields would be beneficial.
